How is site shown determined?

Hello, I'm looking for clarification on a few things... 

what is the deciding criteria of what sites are shown first?

does it give preferential treatment to premium users over freemium?

or does it just choose completely at random?

It's random, but ordering by points field. So, if you put your points up higher, you will be the first person showing up on each page.
