1.4.0 won't install - clean install

hello,

just downloaded the newest update and decided to start from scratch again

during install process, I fill out the form and get an error in an orange box that says:

"Update Failed! An error occurred while trying to update the database"

I checked with PHPMyAdmin and I only have these tables:

blacklist, cron, faq, gateways, packages, settings, sites, stats, surfed_today and user_clicks

the database was completely empty before install

all requirements for the script are there and fucntioning

Any ideas?

I installed my Surfy today and I don't see where to set up my PayPal account and how to set up other account tiers.

I was able to create Credit packages, but when you click to buy one, nothing happens?

This is very confusing

Monetizing With Google AdSense

Google Keeps turning my site down for AdSense Advertising because they have to login to access everything.

Has anyone been able to get Google Approved and how did you do it?

I have a demo account listed right in the header of my site, but they won't use it, they just deny me every time

Anyone have a solution or is there a way to temporarily disable the login?

Customizing the website and other questions

Hi!

I recently installed the website and I've been checking it around and a few questions came to my mind.

1. How can I customize the site? Do I need to edit the files in the website hosts admin panel or is there a simpler way? For example changing the logo, texts etc.

2. Is there a way to put a set amount a user "pays" per hit to their website to for example 1 credit/hit? Because the field which just says "Points" seems misleading (I thought it meant how many points I want to assing to the website).

3. How do I remove the "Powered by" from the footer or can I even remove it?

4. Is it possible to add referral comission on earned points too? It would make more people refer more users to the site if that was a feature.

I think those are the questions so far, I'll add more when I come up with them

Autosurf "error"

My users report that sometimes their timers just say "error" and the page never closes and goes on to the next website...

it just says "error" where the timer would normally be displayed

what could be the cause of this?

timers lagging in some newer browser versions

A few of my users have reported that the timers have been lagging lately

on my site, we have very HIGH times per view session... like 10-15 minutes

it has worked fine until very recently where some have reported that their numbers are off.

One member figured out that in Chrome the tab with the timer will actually run slower than the actual time... the timer was 15 minutes but he timed the actual session and it was near 20

Another user tested with Edge and it almost completely stops the timer in the background tab

Do you have any ideas how to fix that?

it seems to be different on different browsers...
